peace and student congress

After photo exhibition at Tehran and shahed university and joining of more than150 new members to our small group, we continued our peaceful activities with holding a congress to give more information about IPPNW and PSR and their activities and also to familiarize new members together.

The main members organized this congress and 1 week before it; invited new members by calling them

The film was about atomic bombardment of Hiroshima and Nagasaki .Their survivors and atomic bomb effects and also their peaceful activities were shown in the film

After that Leila (representative of IPPNW_Iran ) gave a lecture about PSR ,then Hanieh told complete history of IPPNW and it’s activities .after that hoda and elnaz spoke about peaceful activities of IranAfter lunch delicious sandwich! we started workshops

Topic : chemical weapons

Fatemeh gave some information about chemical weapons used against Iran during Iran-Iraq war and it’s medical effects and many innocent survivors who are suffering from its long term effects .after discussion, conclusions were made

We should improve knowledge of Iranian young people about terrible effects of C.W,so do some educational programs at school

Have workshop about C.W at international congress

Hoda and Farnoosh presented useful information about nuclear weapon after discussion, conclusions were made

Improve the knowledge about NPT and other law of International Atomic Energy Agency

Agency must performs all its duties completely for all countries

It’s clear to differentiate between peaceful and military use of atomic energy, so agency should use masters in this field fairly

Because the costs of agency is prepared by 7-8 countries ,it is better to have another strategy for preparing of its costs , so all countries have equal proportion for decisions

At last with focus of disagreement of develop and stockpiling and use of N.W , aware people about effects of N.W

Finally Leila formed some committee (N.W ,C.W , mine, etc

And new members selected their committee

We hope to extend our peaceful activities and having real peace in all over the word

در راستاي ادامه فعاليت هاي صلح طلبانه داشجويان ايراني عضو انجمن بين المللي پزشكان براي جلوگيري از جنگ هسته اي و انجمن حمايت از قربانيان سلاح هاي شيميايي و بعد از برگزاري نمايشگاه عكس در دانشگاه تهران و دانشكده پزشكي دانشگاه شاهد و به عضويت درامدن بيش از 150 دانشجو برآن شديم تا همايشي ترتيب دهيم تا اعضاي جديد با يكديگر و با انجمن ها و همچنين با حوزه فعاليت ها آشنا شوند.

به اين منظور با مشورت و همكاري اعضاي اصلي يك هفته قبل از روز همايش از طريق تلفن هاي نماس كه در فرم هاي عضويت وجود داشت اطلاع رساني دقيق انجام شد .برنامه همايش به صورت زير هماهنگ شد:

با موضوع سلاح هاي شيميايي و هسته ايWorkshop

در توضيح برنامه اينكه فيلم پخش شده فيلمي مستند و ساخته كشور ‍ژاپن بود كه به بررسي بمباران اتمي هيروشيما و ناكازاكي از زبان يكي از باز ماندگان جنگ پرداخته بود و در قالب فيلم به عوارض و پيامد هاي آن و همچنين آگاهي نسل جوان كشورشان و فعاليت صلح طلبانه دانشجويان اشاره شده بود.

بعد از پخش نيمه اول فيلم ليلا به عنوان رئيس بخش دانشجويي انجمن توضيحاتي راجع به انجمن ها ارئه داد.سپس هانيه راجع به انجمن بين المللي پزشكلن براي جلوگيري از جنگ هسته اي و تاريخچه و فعاليت هاي آن صحبت كرد.و هدي و الناز راجع به فعاليت هاي گذشته و حال و يرنامه هاي آينده انجمن در ايران صحبت كردند.

و بهد از پخش نيمه دوم فيلم و صرف نلهار بخش كارگروه در ساعت 1:30 شروع شد.

ابتدا فاطمه اطلاعاتي در مورد سلاح هاي شيميايي و عوارض آن ارائه داد و سپس بچه ها نظرات خود را بيان كرده و بحث كردند.

نتيجه به شرح ذيل:

ميزان آگاهي جوانان و به تبع آن كودكان از كاربردسلاح هاي شيميايي و عوارض آن در ايران كم بوده و نياز است در راستاي اهداف صلح طلبانه و با توجه به تبليغات مسموم كشور هاي ديگر مبني بر جنگ طلبي ايرانيان برنامه هايي در مدارس به منظور آگاهي دادن از عوارض سلاح ها و آشنايي با قربانيان بي گناه و بيدار كردن انگيزه هاي صلح طلبانه در نسل جديد اجرا شود.

همچنين در كنگره هاي بين المللي كارگروه در مورد سلاح شيميايي با توجه به عوارض مشابه آن با سلاح هاي هسته اي داشته باشيم.

کار گروه بعدي پيرامون سلاح هسته اي بود كه هدي و فرنوش از قبل اطلاعاتي راجع به ان جمع آوري كرده بودندو

هدي آن ها را ارئه كرد و بعد بچه ها به با نظرات مختلف به بحث و بررسي پرداختند.نتايج در پنج محور به شرح ذيل:

وNPTافزايش اطلاعات گروه در مورد قوانین و وظایف و اهداف آژانس بین المللی انرژی هسته ای

2-گروه معتقد بود كه آژرنس موظف است تمام قوانين از جمله خلع سلاح هسته اي را به طور كامل و در مورد تمام كشور ها اجرا كند.

3-با توجه به اينكه بخش اعظم بودجه آژانس توسط 7-8 كشور تامين مي شود بايد به فكر تدبيري صحيح براي تامين بودجه آزانس بود تا تمام كشور ها ي عضو به يك اندازه در آژانس تاثير گذار باشند.

4-از آنجا كه صلح آميز بودن يا نبودن فعاليت هاي هسته اي از نظر علمي كاملا قابل تفكيك است به نظر ميرسد آژانس مي تواند با استفاده از دانشمندان و كارشناسان هسته اي و به دور از فشار هاي سياسي نقش خود را در كمك به كشور هاي خواهان انرژي هسته اي و اعمال قانون در مورد كشور هاي داراي سلاح هسته اي به درستي ايفا كند.

5-در تهايت گروه با تاكيد بر مخالفت با ساخت و انباشت و استفاده از هر گونه سلاح كشتار جمعي به اين نتيجه رسيد كه بايد آگاهي تمام افراد جامعه و گروه هاي سني مختلف را در مورد انرژي صلح آميز هسته اي و بمب هسته اي و عوارض مخرب آن و... افزايش دهد.

در پايان كار گروه ليلا كميته هاي مختلفي را تشكيل داد (اجرايي/روابط عمومي/شيميايي/هسته اي/مين و خسارات ناشي از آن) تا اعضا با توجه به علايق خود حوزه ي فعاليتي خود را مشخص كنند. گسترش

فعاليت كميته ها و سفر به يكي از استان هاي كشور از برنامه هاي آتي ميباشد.

اما نكته اي كه بايد به آن اشاره كرد و بهتر است در گزارش انگليسي به آن اشاره نكنيم همكاري بسيار ضعيف اعضاي جديد بود.

با وجود اطلاع رساني خوب در مورد همايش فقط 21 نفر در همايش حضور داشتند!!! كه اين موضوع از هر جهت جاي تا مل و تاسف دارد......

در پايان اميدواريم كه دانشجويان ايراني كه خود در كشوري زندگي مي كنند كه قرباني سلاح هاي كشتار جمعي مي باشد بيش از اين خواستار صلح و امنيت بوده و در راستاي اين هدف ارزشمند فعاليت وسيع داشته باشند....

_{^{Fallowing the photo exhibition at Tehran university, IPPNW}}

_{^{& PSR Iranian students continued it’s activities by organizing a 4-part program at Shahed Medical University ( The university at which the main members study) . The program started at 6 may ( because 7 may is an important day for Iranians, the day of taking back an occupied city in southwestern Iran, Khorramshahr) and had a better quality with a with a more organized process than before, due to the great cooperation of Dr.Jalali ( the head master of Shahed Medical University) and his other colleague.}}

_{^{The program consists of the following parts:}}

_{^{1. A photo exhibition about PSR & IPPNW Iran members’ activities and CW victims.}}

_{^{2. Giving 3 lectures by Dr.Khateri, Leila and Fateme.}}

_{^{3. Holding some workshops.}}

_{^{4. the target X program}}

_{^{After Elnaz , Fateme, Farnoosh & Hanie’s attemps for informing the students and attracting them by distributing advertisements, Nafise helped Leila for starting arranging the exhibition on 6 may at 8 a.m & changed her place with Hoda and Elnaz about 2 hours later. After group collaboration, everything was ready at 1 p.m! Just then Dr.Khateri; Elahe and Mrs Babayi – a Japanese Martyr mother – arrived and had a brief visit of the exhibition. The formal meeting started by Dr.Khateri’s lecture about SCWVS activities in Iran and other countries and the CWs effect on health and environment. After that Fateme Bateni talked about the consequences of NWs and the similarities with CWs. This part ended by Leila’s lecture, introducing IPPNW & PSR to the new members. Then the audiences were entertained sweet and juice while going to visit the exhibition. Hoda, Elnaz, Nafise and Fateme explained the activities to the visitors while giving them to the 5 different photos stands possible (1. Leila at Helsinki 2.The visit of SLMK to Iran 3.The NWIP medical students visit to Iran 4.The photo exhibition at Tehran university 5.CW victims). These explanation lead in the membership of 40 new members!}}

_{^{At about 4 o’clock the 4 mentioned members started the workshops about:}}

_{^{· How bring peace & equality to the world?}}

_{^{· The ideas about Nws & CWs.}}

_{^{And the following conclusions were gained:}}

_{^{1. How to bring peace to the world?}}

_{^{After a long discussion, the groups reached the idea that through paying attention to humankind measurements and putting aside the differences, prevailing peace on earth would come true.}}

_{^{2. The ideas about NWs & CWs.}}

_{^{· Production and visage of NWs, CWs and any other mass destroying agent must be abandoned.}}

_{^{· Increasing peace activities to inform the society about the consequences of these weapons.}}

_{^{· Performing multilateral evidence-based researches to substantiate the adverse effect of CWs & NWs.}}

_{^{· Considering the effects of these weapons in different specialized groups.}}

_{^{All this time, Yasamin was recording the activities through pictures and films. Hanye & Farnoush were responsible for executive and financial activities. After a “hot” discussion in workshops and having ice cream (Bastani Zafrani!), the last part of the program” Target X”, was performed and was of a lot of interest to the students as they said. As the visitors requested, the exhibition continued until 9 may.}}
